We partner with centres in the rural communities of Hammanskraal and Maubane, South Africa, who are already serving children. We don’t start something new or build our own centre, but rather equip those key individuals who know their own communities and the culture the children are growing up in.
Our approach is very practical and hands on, as depicted in our logo consisting of the tree, hands and heart. We see every child as a tree with the potential to be healthy and bear fruit in the community God has planned for them to grow in. They can reach this potential if they are nurtured in spirit, mind and body. We include the children and care givers at each centre in this process.
We are excited and expectant for what the Lord will do in and through our lives and at our centres in Hammanskraal this year!
Our theme for the year is FAITH IN ACTION and our word for the year is INTENTIONAL. Does God want us to be intentional? God is intentional and calls us to be the same. Just as He intentionally created the world and humankind, He would ask us to be as intentional in our relationship with Him.
